Tudor Pelagos FXD M.N.23, ref. 25707B/23, originally sold in July 2023. A sought after modern classic, the Tudor FXD Marine Nationale. The watch measures 42mm and is crafted in titanium, providing a robust construction while remaining lightweight on the wrist. The beautiful and simple navy blue dial together with the familiar Snowflake hands creates a clean appearance that perfectly captures the model’s classic tool watch character. The caseback is engraved “M.N.23” as a tribute to the original Tudor watches supplied to the Marine Nationale. These watches were similarly engraved with the initials of the French Navy and the year in which the watch entered service. Tudor and the French Marine Nationale share a fascinating history. The case features fixed strap bars integrated directly into the titanium case, giving the FXD its name. The blue ceramic bezel rotates in both directions and features a 60 minute navigation scale developed with underwater navigation in mind. Inside is the automatic Tudor Calibre MT5602, a COSC certified movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The watch features sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance.
