Rolex GMT-Master “Pepsi”, ref. 1675, from circa 1972 - 299xxxx serial with Mk2 dial. A particularly charming example of the classic GMT-Master 1675, one of Rolex’s most iconic vintage sports models. The watch measures 40mm and is crafted in stainless steel with a plexiglass crystal and the characteristic rotating 24-hour bezel. The beautifully faded red and blue “Pepsi” bezel insert, combined with the matte Mk2 dial, gives the watch a strong and authentic vintage appearance. The matte black Mk2 dial presents beautifully with an attractive warm patina to the hour markers. The hands have developed a similarly warm patina, matching the dial nicely and contributing to the overall character of the watch. The red GMT hand allows an additional time zone to be read against the 24-hour bezel. The caseback has been engraved with numbers. The watch is fitted with a newer Rolex 78360 Oyster bracelet with 558 end links. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 1575. Comes with no accessories.
