Rolex Submariner Date, ref. 16610, originally sold in September 2008 - M-series. A classic Submariner Date from the final period before the introduction of ceramic models. Ref. 16610 is one of the most recognisable generations of the Rolex Submariner and is particularly appreciated for its traditional proportions, aluminium bezel and classic Oyster design. The watch measures 40mm and is crafted in stainless steel with a sapphire crystal and a unidirectional diving bezel featuring a black aluminium insert. The black dial features luminous hour markers and Mercedes hands together with a date display at 3 o’clock with Cyclops lens. As an M-series example, the watch features Rolex engraving on the inner rehaut. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with folding clasp and diver’s extension. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3135 with date function and quickset date adjustment. Calibre 3135 was used in the Submariner Date throughout much of the model’s production and is known for its robust construction. Comes with boxes, papers, certificate, green hangtag and service carried out by our own watchmaker in September 2026.
