IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Edition “Expedition Jacques-Yves Cousteau”, ref. IW376805, originally sold by an authorized Danish retailer in September 2016. A distinctive Aquatimer combining IWC’s professional diving watch concept with a tribute to legendary French ocean explorer and diver Jacques-Yves Cousteau. The model forms part of IWC’s longstanding connection with the Cousteau Society and combines a robust diving watch design with the characteristic blue colour that perfectly complements its maritime heritage. The 44mm stainless steel case features a deep blue dial with chronograph counters as well as day and date displays. The model is equipped with IWC’s SafeDive system, where the external bezel controls the internal diving bezel. The system is designed to prevent the set dive time from being accidentally extended. The watch is fitted with a black rubber strap featuring IWC’s quick change system. Inside is the automatic IWC Calibre 79320 with approximately 44 hours of power reserve.
