Rolex Datejust “Thunderbird”, ref. 6609 – 1973. A classic and relatively uncommon 36 mm Datejust, also known as the “Thunderbird” or Turn-O-Graph. Crafted in stainless steel and gold, the model is distinguished by its rotating 18 ct Turn-O- Graph bezel, setting it apart from the traditional Datejust. The watch features a roulette date wheel with alternating red and black numerals, enhancing its vintage character. It is fitted with the original folded Oyster bracelet, ref. 7836. Please note: There is damage to the first link at 1 o’clock on the original bracelet. A distinctive and historically interesting Datejust reference from the 1970s, seldom seen on the market.
