Rolex Day-Date 40 18K, ref. 228238, originally sold in July 2022. A classic Day-Date crafted in 18k yellow gold and combined with a black dial featuring factory-set baguette-cut diamonds. Since its introduction, the Day-Date has been among Rolex’s most exclusive models and is distinguished by its display of both the day and date. The watch measures 40mm and features an 18k yellow gold case with a fluted bezel. The black dial features factory-set baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers, creating a striking contrast with the yellow gold. The day is displayed at 12 o’clock, while the date display is positioned at 3 o’clock beneath the sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnification over the date display. The watch is fitted with an 18k yellow gold President bracelet. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3255 with quick adjustment of both day and date.
