Rolex Datejust 36 18K, ref. 116138, F-series, originally sold in January 2022. A classic Datejust crafted in 18k yellow gold. The F-series originates from an earlier production period, while this particular example was first sold in 2022 and comes with the newer type Rolex certificate. The watch measures 36mm and features an 18k yellow gold case with a fluted bezel. The black dial provides a striking contrast to the yellow gold, while the date display is positioned at 3 o’clock beneath the sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnification over the date display. The model is fitted with a leather strap and an 18k yellow gold buckle. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3135 with quickset date. The calibre was introduced in the late 1980s and formed the basis for a wide range of Rolex automatic models with date throughout the following decades. Comes with boxes, papers and the newer type certificate.
