The model marked Audemars Piguet's market entry into the large and sporty luxury watch segment. The watch is made of stainless steel with the characteristic octagonal crown, visible screws and integrated chain. The dial has the classic Tapisserie pattern with chronograph subdials, date function, protected by sapphire glass. The watch is equipped with the Audemars Piguet Cal. 2226/2840, an automatic movement based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 889 with Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module. The movement is known for its robust construction and reliability and delivers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
