Rolex Submariner, ref. 1680 Red Sub circa 1973 – 340xxxx serial One of the more sought-after vintage Rolex models. The Red Sub is a true classic among collectors and a strong addition to any vintage collection. The case remains in good condition with well-defined lugs and symmetrical crown guards. The watch features a period-correct Mark IV dial with a light creamy patina. The tritium hands show a matching light patina. There is a slight patina visible along the edge of the dial between 11 and 12 o’clock. Fitted with a folded Oyster bracelet ref. 9315 with endlinks 380. The clasp is stamped with code D from 1979. A classic and attractive Red Sub example with strong vintage appeal. Delivered without accessories.
