Patek Philippe Nautilus 18K, ref. 3800/1 – originally sold in January 1984. An exceptionally elegant and rarely seen Patek Philippe Nautilus crafted in 18k yellow gold and featuring Gérald Genta’s iconic design. Reference 3800 carries the design language of the original Nautilus ref. 3700 into more compact proportions, combining simplicity, craftsmanship and exceptional materials. The watch measures 37.5mm and features an attractive black/blue horizontally ribbed dial that changes character depending on how the light hits it. The dial features applied hour markers, central seconds and a date display at 3 o’clock. Sapphire crystal protects the dial and completes the characteristic Nautilus design. Both the case and integrated Nautilus bracelet are crafted in 18k yellow gold. The watch is generally in very good condition with age-related signs of wear, primarily visible on the bezel. The bracelet is likewise in good condition, although it does show some stretch. Inside is the Patek Philippe Calibre 335 SC, an automatic movement with central seconds. The accompanying Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives states that the movement was replaced during a previous service by Patek Philippe in 1991. Comes with box and Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives.
