Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5125J Wempe Edition from July 2003 Patek Philippe Annual Calendar ref. 5125J Wempe Edition in 18K yellow gold. The model was created to mark Wempe’s 125th anniversary as an authorised Patek Philippe retailer in 2003, with total production limited to 425 pieces across yellow gold, rose gold, white gold and platinum. This example is number 5x of 125 pieces in yellow gold. The 5125J has a 37mm yellow gold case with rounded lines, sapphire crystal and a very balanced dial layout. Day and month are displayed together below 12 o’clock, while date, moon phase and 24 hour indication are placed at 6 o’clock. The discreet Wempe signature is integrated into the moon phase, giving the watch a more distinctive character than the regular Annual Calendar references. This is a Patek with a strong mix of collector relevance and practical complication. The Annual Calendar only needs manual correction once per year, and the overall expression is more understated than many perpetual calendars, while still carrying clear Patek Philippe presence. Inside is the Patek Philippe Caliber 315 S QA LU 35 R, an automatic movement with annual calendar, moon phase, date, day, month and 24 hour indication. The watch was originally sold by Wempe in Madrid in July 2003. Delivered with special Wempe anniversary boxes, additional display caseback, setting tool, Wempe 125th anniversary booklet, original certificate and more.
