H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Perpetual Calendar 6812-1200 from April 2022 H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Perpetual Calendar ref. 6812-1200 in stainless steel with grey fumé dial and integrated bracelet. This is Moser’s own interpretation of a modern sports watch with perpetual calendar, and rather than filling the dial with subdials and calendar displays, the complication is almost hidden within the very clean Streamliner design. The small central red and white hand indicates the month using the 12 hour markers, while the large date is discreetly positioned at 4 o’clock and the power reserve at 10. The leap year cycle can be viewed through the sapphire caseback. The result is a perpetual calendar that, at first glance, almost looks like a simple three hand watch. The case measures 42.3mm and flows directly into the integrated steel bracelet, which is a major part of the Streamliner’s identity. The grey fumé dial, rounded case and combination of brushed and polished surfaces give the watch a very different character from more traditional integrated bracelet sports watches. With 120m water resistance, it is also unusually practical for a watch with this level of complication. Inside is the H. Moser & Cie. Caliber HMC 812, a manually wound manufacture movement with perpetual calendar and an impressive 168 hours, or seven days, of power reserve. The calendar is designed so the date can be adjusted both forwards and backwards, making it considerably more intuitive to set than many traditional perpetual calendars.
