Rolex Submariner Date “Kermit”, ref. 16610LV, from approximately 2005 – D-series. A sought-after version of the classic Submariner Date, introduced in 2003 to mark the model’s 50th anniversary. Ref. 16610LV quickly became known as the “Kermit” and differs from the standard 16610 through its characteristic green bezel. The watch measures 40mm and is crafted in stainless steel. The black dial features larger hour markers and hands with luminescent material, while the green aluminium bezel features a 60-minute diving scale. The date display is positioned at 3 o’clock beneath the sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnification over the date display. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3135 with quickset date. The calibre was introduced in the late 1980s and formed the basis for a wide range of Rolex automatic models with date throughout the following decades. Comes with box, booklets, seal hangtag, spare link and 2022 Rolex service, but no other accessories.
