Rolex Sea-Dweller “SD 4000”, ref. 116600 - originally sold in December 2015. An iconic Sea-Dweller reference produced only from 2014 to 2017. The model combines classic Rolex proportions with professional diving functionality and represents the final Sea-Dweller generation with a 40mm case before the collection moved to larger dimensions. The watch is crafted in Oystersteel with a 40mm case, helium escape valve and water resistance to 1,220 metres (4,000 ft). The black dial with Chromalight markers, black ceramic Cerachrom bezel and sapphire crystal provide a robust and functional appearance, while the Oyster bracelet completes the classic Rolex design. Inside is the Rolex Calibre 3135, an automatic in-house movement with Quickset date, Parachrom hairspring and approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The movement is renowned for its precision, stability and reliability and is considered one of Rolex’s most proven calibres.
