Rolex Sea-Dweller "Swiss Only", ref. 16600 – A-series, originally sold in March 1999. Classic Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 in stainless steel. The model was developed as a professional dive watch and differs from the Submariner through its higher depth rating and integrated helium escape valve designed for saturation diving. The watch features a black dial with date display at 3 o’clock and sapphire crystal. This example is fitted with the sought-after “Swiss Only” dial, produced during a short transitional period around 1998-1999. The Sea-Dweller is also known for the absence of a cyclops lens over the date, giving the watch a cleaner and more functional appearance. The unidirectional dive bezel allows precise tracking of dive time. It is powered by Rolex Caliber 3135, an automatic movement known for reliability and precision.
