Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman”, ref. 116710BLNR, originally sold in July 2013. A modern Rolex classic and the first GMT-Master II to feature the characteristic blue and black Cerachrom bezel. This combination gave the model its “Batman” nickname and has made it one of the most recognisable versions of the GMT-Master II. The watch measures 40mm and is crafted in stainless steel. The black dial features a blue GMT hand together with hour markers and hands with Chromalight luminescent material. The two-tone blue and black ceramic Cerachrom bezel features a 24-hour scale, which together with the GMT hand allows an additional time zone to be displayed. The date display is positioned at 3 o’clock beneath the sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnification over the date display. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Inside is the automatic Rolex Calibre 3186. The movement features a GMT function with an independently adjustable local hour hand as well as quick adjustment of the date via the hour hand.
