Rolex Explorer II, ref. 16570, M-series, originally sold in December 2008. A classic Explorer II with a 40mm Oystersteel case and white “Polar” dial featuring the characteristic red GMT hand. This is the sought-after late version, fitted with Rolex Calibre 3186 – known for improved precision, Parachrom hairspring and increased resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. The model was developed for exploration in extreme environments and features a fixed 24-hour bezel together with an independently adjustable GMT hand, allowing two time zones to be tracked simultaneously.
