A classic Rolex Explorer II, ref. 1655, also known as the "Orange Hand" or "Freccione." One of the most iconic and sought-after vintage Rolex models, this example is in excellent condition and dates back to approximately 1980 (6368xxx series). It was originally sold by a Danish retailer in May 1981. The watch is in overall really fine condition, featuring a well-preserved case with strong lugs and crown guards. It sports a Mk5 dial in remarkable condition, boasting an appealing warm patina. The second hand is missing its tritium material, but the remaining hands are intact, showing light, superficial cracking. The bracelet is an Oyster 78360 with 580 end links. The clasp is stamped "VE" = 1980. Overall, the bracelet is in good condition with minor stretch. The movement is the reliable Cal. 1570.
