Vintage Rolex Double Red Sea-Dweller, ref. 1665 - from around 1972 - serial no. 2926xxx - sold in 1974. This Double Red Sea-Dweller features a Mk2 dial, which has previously been relumed with Luminova material. The hands are also in Luminova. The date wheel was replaced earlier with a newer type. The bezel insert is a service insert with a Luminova pearl and is in good condition. The case has been polished before but remains in good overall condition. The case back is engraved IV.67, indicating the 4th quarter of 1967, while the serial number (2926xxx) indicates 1972. The case back has the correct engraving of the last three digits of the serial number. The watch is fitted with a 9315 folded Oyster bracelet with 280 end links, showing some stretch.
