Patek Philippe Ref. 2526 “Freccero” – Pink Gold with Enamel Dial Extremely rare double-signed Calatrava, c. 1954–1955 This is more than just a Patek Philippe – it’s a piece of horological history. Launched in 1953, the Ref. 2526 was Patek Philippe’s very first self-winding wristwatch and remains one of the most iconic and sought-after vintage models ever produced. This particular example stands out as one of the few known pieces bearing a rare double signature from the prestigious Uruguayan retailer Freccero, based in Montevideo. It features a first-series enamel dial, identifiable by its applied pink gold hour markers set into holes drilled into the enamel – an aesthetically striking and technically demanding construction, exclusive to early production. The warm 36 mm case in 18k pink gold perfectly complements the rich tone of the enamel, while inside beats the legendary Calibre 12-600 AT, widely regarded as one of the finest and most beautifully finished automatic movements ever made. The dial is signed both "Patek Philippe" and "Freccero", making this one of only a handful of such examples known to exist globally – believed to be fewer than 10. This watch is in outstanding condition, with a flawless enamel dial, sharp and well-preserved case, It is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives. Watch only.
