Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, ref. 310.32.42.50.01.002, originally sold by an authorized Danish retailer in May 2022. One of the most iconic watches ever made. The Speedmaster Professional is known as the Moonwatch and holds a unique place in watchmaking history through its connection with NASA and the moon landings. This newer generation retains the classic design while combining it with an updated movement and modern specifications. The watch features a 42mm stainless steel case with the classic black step dial and three chronograph counters. The design is inspired by the fourth generation Speedmaster worn on the moon. The black aluminium bezel features a tachymeter scale and the characteristic “Dot over 90”, while sapphire crystal on both the front and caseback gives this model its popular Sapphire Sandwich configuration. Inside is the manually wound Omega Calibre 3861. The movement features a Co-Axial escapement, approximately 50 hours of power reserve and is Master Chronometer certified by METAS. It is also resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. The transparent caseback provides a clear view of the movement. This Speedmaster reference was originally delivered on a leather strap. This particular watch has subsequently been fitted with an original Omega bracelet, giving it the familiar classic Moonwatch appearance. Comes with boxes, papers, certificate, extra links.
