Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, ref. 310.30.42.50.01.002, originally sold in July 2025. One of the most iconic watches ever made. The Speedmaster Professional is known as the Moonwatch and holds a unique place in watchmaking history through its connection with NASA and the Moon landings. This newer generation continues the classic design while combining it with an updated movement and modern specifications. The watch features a 42mm stainless steel case with the classic black step dial and three chronograph counters. Its design is inspired by the fourth generation Speedmaster worn on the Moon. The black aluminium bezel features a tachymeter scale and the characteristic “Dot over 90”, while sapphire crystal on both the front and caseback gives the model its popular Sapphire Sandwich configuration. The watch is fitted with an original Omega stainless steel bracelet with micro adjustment in the clasp. Inside is the manually wound Omega Calibre 3861 with Co-Axial escapement and approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The movement is Master Chronometer certified by METAS and designed to resist magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. The transparent caseback provides a clear view of the movement.
