Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Titanium, ref. 5015-12B30-B52, originally sold in August 2021. A modern interpretation of one of the great icons of diving watches. The Fifty Fathoms traces its roots back to 1953 and is closely associated with the development of the modern professional dive watch. This version combines the classic Fifty Fathoms design with a large titanium case, low weight and Blancpain’s characteristic sapphire covered diving bezel. The 45mm case is crafted from titanium and paired with a black sunburst dial featuring large luminous markers and a date display between 4 and 5 o’clock. The unidirectional diving bezel features a domed sapphire insert, giving the watch its distinctive appearance while protecting the scale beneath. The watch is fitted with a sail canvas strap. Inside is the automatic Blancpain Calibre 1315 with an impressive 120 hour power reserve. The movement features a silicon balance spring and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. The watch is water resistant to 300m. Comes with boxes, papers, partially completed certificate and original strap.
