Rare and sought after 40mm Tudor Oysterdate "Monte Carlo" Chronograph, ref. 7149/0 from 1976 - serialnr. 844xxxx. The 7100 series introduced in 1971, is the second series of Tudors chronograph watches from the 70's. Nicknamed “Montecarlo” by enthusiasts because their dials are reminiscent of a casino roulette whee in Monaco. This particular watch features a very attractive grey dial with chronograph subdials and date window. Both hands and hour markers has aged beautiful with a nice cream color. Furthermore the watch features Rolex triplock crown, blue Bakelite tachymeter bezel and screw-down chronograph pushers. Bezel is from the blue 7149/0 version, but still OEM. The 40mm steel case is fine condition with original chamfers on lugs and crown guards. This Tudor sits on an Oyster 93150 bracelet with 585 end links. Manually wound (Valjoux) cal. 234 movement. The watch comes with travel case. No box or papers.
