Rolex Submariner Small Crown, ref. 5508 with "exclamation mark" dial. This Sub is from 1962 (762xxx SN). Beautiful Small Crown Sub, that checks all the boxes - Small Crown, gilt hands, gilt exclamation mark dial and a great case, that has recently been detailed, and is a condition one could only hope for. The case is in great shape, with fat and symmetric lugs without and dings or dents. Both reference number and seriel number are intact and fully visible. The dial is in good condition, with some spotting/oxidation, and a patina that makes the dial appear almost tropical. The original hands are a tone lighter than the hour markers, and lights up for a minuter after exposure to UV light, with is correct for this period. This Sub sits on a new vintage inspired RIOS strap.
