A super fine example of a vintage Rolex Submariner, ref. 5513 from 1978 (564xxxx serial) with a Maxi III dial. Originally sold in January 1981. The classic no-nonsense diver without date and one of the most sought after vintage Rolex watches for some years now. This 5513 is in fine condition, with a good solid case and nice and fat lugs. This 5513 is fitted with a so called "Maxi III" dial, with a perfect patina on the hour markers and matching hands. The insert is an original and correct fat font insert, with a tritium pearl. The caseback has previously been engraved. The watch sits on a newer 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end-links. This 5513 comes with boxes, papers, certificate and original receipt.
