A super fine example of a vintage Rolex Submariner, ref. 5513 from 1977 (5369xxx serial) with a Maxi I dial. The classic no-nonsense diver without date and one of the most sought after vintage Rolex watches for some years now. This 5513 is in super fine condition, with a good solid case and nice and fat lugs. This 5513 is fitted with a so called "Maxi I" dial, with a great creamy vanilla patina on the hour markers and matching hands. The 3 o´clock mark has a small scratch, but is otherwise flawless. The insert is an original and correct fat font insert, with a luminova pearl. The watch sits on a 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end-links. The clasp is stamped VC = 1978. The watch comes with Klarlund service papers dated in 2012.
