Rolex Submariner, ref. 1680 Red Sub from 1972 - 3058xxx series. One of the most sought after vintage Rolex sports watches, the Red Sub, that without a doubt is considered a classic and that would be a great addition to any vintage collection. The case of the watch has previously been polished, but the case itself and the lugs and crown guards remain nice and fat. The dial is a period correct mark IV dial, that has achieved a pleasant and even creme patina, with hands a few tones darker. The dial shows oil marks around the center of the dial. The bezel insert is a great looking faded insert in great condition. The watch sits on a "Pateted" 9315 Oyster bracelet with some stretch from use. Comes as watch only.
