It is the 50th anniversary model presented at Basel World in 2003 which hit the stores in 2004. Here is an example with the sought after Mark 1 dial, with characteristica as the oval "O" in ROLEX and the "SWISS MADE" at 6 o´clock that stretches beyond the 28 and 32 minute markers and also with a period correct "Flat Four" insert.
