Rolex Explorer II, ref. 16570 from approx. 2008 – V-series, sold in March 2009. A fine and collectible example of the Rolex Explorer II with black dial – from the final production years of the reference. This version features no lug holes, engraved “ROLEXROLEX” rehaut, and is powered by the upgraded Caliber 3186 movement, found only in the latest examples – a key point for collectors. Measuring 40 mm, the watch is fitted with a 78790A Oyster bracelet and features a sapphire crystal, date, and GMT function. Overall, it remains in excellent condition.
