A fantastic vintage Rolex Double Red Sea-Dweller, ref. 1665. This fantastic DRSD has a 9208xxx serial number, dating it to 1976, but it was not until march 20th 1980 it was sold for the first time. The watch has a flawless period correct Mk4 dial, with the most pleasing and even patina we have seen for a long time, and hands that matches in a way one normally only dreams of. It has a great and sharp case, with fat and symmetric lugs with original bevels still showing. The crownguards is in equally fine condition. The watch sits on 93150 bracelet, with 585 end links and a service clasp. Serial and reference numbers between the lugs, remain clear and fully readable. The original caseback of course also has the serial number engraved. With the watch comes boxes, 2 booklets, earlier AD service, certificate holder, anchor, hangtag and certificate.
