Patek Philippe Nautilus, ref. 3710/1A from 2003. A beautiful and elegant Patek watch, that due to the "comet tail" shaped power-reserve indicator between 11 & 12, has gotten nickname "The Comet". The design is done by Gérald Genta, that amongst other things designed Audemars Piguets Royal Oak. The case is the well known "Porthole case" design - consisting of two parts - measuring 42mm x 44mm. This design was introduced in 1976 and by that times standards was considered a large watch. Due to that, the case size still today is known as Jumbo. The matte black finish of the dial with it´s "Train track" seconds/minute indicators gives this watch a rather neat and unique look. The 3710/1A is with a solid caseback, but it does house a beautifully finished, mechanical automatic winding Patek Philippe Cal. 330/SC IZR movement, consisting of 240 parts. The movement presents 48 hours of power reserve. The watch sits on a stainless steel bracelet with a thin double folding clasp. This Patek was serviced in October 2013, but haven't been removed from its service packaging until recently. The watch comes with all documents, papers, certificate, service certificate and service packaging. The original box is not present.
