A very cool and limited Omega watch. The Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Chronograph Solar Impulse is produced in 1924 pieces, this watch being nr. 1259 of this production. The watch is a celebration of a project whose ambitious aim is to circle the globe in an airplane powered only by solar energy. The 45mm watch is made out og titanium and is fitted with a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire glass and a great looking blue/green dial with a liquid crystal crystal digital display. Function wise, a few notable mentions include : Three timezones, chronograph, timer, three alarms, perpetual calendar amongst other features. The movement is a highly precise multi-functional quartz movement (Cal. Omega 5619), with special functions developed, tested and qualified by the European Space Agency (ESA). A very neat Omega watch, that appears 95% unused and comes as a complete set.
