Cool vintage Rolex Submariner, ref. 1680 from ca 1979 - 6154xxx serial - originally sold in September 1981. Reference 1680 is a highly sought after vintage Rolex sports watch, that without a doubt is considered a classic and that would be a great addition to any vintage collection. The watch has a fine Mk1 dial, with a very light patina, with matching hands. The fat font insert gives the watch a cool and unique appearance. The watch has been used professionally for many years. The case has previously been polished and is still nice and fat. The watch sits on a 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end links. Clasp is stamped VE = 1980.
